Coca-Cola C2
“Half the carbs, half the calories, all the heart. Rest easy, C2.”
“A chocolate shell with secrets inside — the only candy that made unwrapping a treasure hunt.”
The Wonder Ball was a milk chocolate sphere from the Frankford Candy & Chocolate Company, hollow at its heart and filled with smaller candies waiting inside. It came wrapped in foil, boxed up with a collectible sticker, and there was even a Wonder Ball Plus Prize version packed with tangy dextrose candy, stickers, and a small toy. It was less a candy than an experience: crack the shell, find the surprise.
The Wonder Ball was discontinued in 2007, and the treat left behind a generation of fans who still remember the little thrill of breaking one open. Its legacy is simple and sweet: proof that sometimes the packaging was the point, and the prize was the joy of not knowing what you'd find.
