OK Soda
“Things were going to be OK. They were not, but thanks for asking.”
“A snack that ate like a cereal, gone before we figured out which it was.”
Fingos arrived in 1993 from General Mills as a breakfast cereal you could snack on — no bowl, no milk, no ceremony. People loved the idea of grabbing breakfast by the handful, even if the marketing had them scratching their heads about whether it was cereal or snack food.
The confusion didn't help, and by 1994 Fingos was gone, its box having been voiced in commercials by comedian Steve Mackall. It lasted barely a year, leaving behind the memory of a cereal that refused to stay in the bowl.
