In September 2024, Coca-Cola confirmed the bottled version was being discontinued, citing slumping sales and changing lifestyles. The flavor survives at Freestyle fountains, so the recipe isn't gone, just harder to take home. And in February 2026, Coca-Cola announced Coca-Cola Cherry Float for the US, Canada and the UK, a kindred spirit stepping in for the bottles we said goodbye to.
