“It played your old 2600 games before it was cool. Rest easy, pioneer.”
“That's all, folks — dinner is served, never again.”
Looney Tunes Meals arrived in 1990 from Tyson Foods, a line of frozen dinners built around the Warner Bros. cartoon characters and aimed squarely at kids. For a few years, dinner came with a side of Bugs Bunny, and children were delighted to eat along with the cartoons they loved.
By late 1993, sales had slipped, and Tyson retired the line without much fuss. No scandal, no recall — just a beloved meal quietly leaving the freezer aisle. The plates are gone, but the memories of dinner with the Looney Tunes gang live on.
