Star Trek Customizable Card Game

1994 — 2007
retired Reported · 2007

“Engage: it played its last card, but the deltas keep shuffling.”

Launched in 1994 by Decipher, Inc. as Star Trek: The Next Generation Customizable Card Game, STCCG let fans build decks around the Trek universe they loved. It found a devoted following, enough to spawn two distinct editions over its lifetime. For players, it was a chance to command the Enterprise crew themselves, one carefully chosen card at a time.

The game went out of print in 2007 after a run that spanned both editions and many shared elements between them. It remains a beloved out-of-print collectible, the kind fans still speak of in the abbreviated shorthand of old friends. The final frontier, as ever, lives on in the holodecks of our basements.
