Honda S2000
“Two liters of screaming joy, nine gears of nothing but smiles.”
“Back from the dead for five glorious years, then off to make room for the next one.”
The fifth-generation Chevrolet Camaro was a pony car built by Chevrolet from the 2010 to 2015 model years, the fifth distinct generation of the muscle and pony car line that began in 1967. After the previous generation ended in 2002, fans spent several years without a Camaro, so its return felt like a reunion. Production began on March 16, 2009, and it went on sale to the public in April 2009 as a 2010 model.
The fifth generation ran through the 2015 model year before being succeeded by the sixth generation, a planned handoff rather than an abrupt end. It bridged the seven-year gap in the nameplate's history and restored a beloved badge to showroom floors. It left behind the momentum its successor would carry forward.
