Radofin, a Hong Kong company, released the 1292 Advanced Programmable Video System in 1979 — a second-generation home console with a name long enough to need its own shelf. Its real distinction was family: it was software-compatible with a whole clan of consoles, including the Interton VC 4000 and the Voltmace Database, so its games could travel between them.
